What A Difference A Month Can Make

Well, we have made it to the month mark after Aubrey's accident with remarkable progress. We were very cautiously optimistic at the hospital about her outcome. I don't think any of us thought she would be doing this well. Yay God!!! She tested out of speech therapy on Wednesday...she blew their test out of the water. It is so cute though...she keeps asking when Philip (OT) and Carrie (ST) are coming back to play. She is so sweet. We also moved Aubrey's mattress from our bedroom floor to her bed frame in her room on Wednesday. She ran all over the house because she was so excited about being back in her room. We purchased a bumper for her bed to cover the wood slats...Jared and I are still nervous nellies. I think in a couple of weeks she will ask us leave so she can fall asleep...we are currently staying in the room until she falls asleep. We are planning on going to the corn maze tomorrow!!! Food and games...we are there!
